Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, A Hilton Resort & Spa

LOCATION WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Just crossed the stop light and I was in heaven on the beach. I LOVE that the location of the hotel is on the much, much quieter and solitary part of Carlsbad. There is also restroom access due to the RV/tent site in between the beach and the beach access from the hotel. IT WAS ALSO SO, SO WONDERFUL that there is a covered parking structure just right across the hotel. Parking was a breeze, thought not cheap for overnight parking. Loved that the walls were well insulated. I was worried because we stayed for 4th of July and there were a lot of guests. Our room overlooked the pool area, but, we did not hear a thing with all the guests at the pool and lots of guests in the hotel. Didn't hear door slamming, didn't hear people walking by or taking showers. That's a huge problem for me wherever I go. I didn't have to use my earplugs! I always bring a pair now when I check in to a hotel due to inevitable noise from neighbors. I was REALLY SURPRISED how well insulated the rooms are!

It's clean, smells good. 🛌 are comfortable. 4 comfortable pillows on the bed. Housekeeping is on time. Valet parking $40, self $30 a day, not included in a price, also $35 resort charge, you pay extra.Pet friendly, no charge if it's a service dog. Nice place to stay, but a little expensive, specially if you book a room with a balcony.

All of the associates we encountered were very friendly and helpful. There was a very nice pool associate at the end of her shift, but took time to find us towels. The location is perfect location for the beach.

Close to the beach, family friendly, they don’t skip on alcohol, offer shuttle services, offer spa, offer beach butler or issuing hotel umbrellas and towels and chairs, great staff
